Our philosophy

One joyful day we created this slogan and then ended up believing in it so much that we couldn’t let it go:

The Figueres Comedy Festival is designed to make Figueres into a better place, and the world a better place.

It’s an annual programme of events based on the performing arts but open to all kinds of offerings that have good humour, comedy and the joy of living as leitmotif.

Time after time we have succeeded in bringing our audiences a handful of first class comedians and presenting a wide variety of activities: cinema, talks, training courses, competitions, sessions of laughter therapy and the yoga of laughter... Designed so that no-one can ever say they died of boredom in the Empordà. A great cultural and playful offering for home and away. An unbeatable start to spring.
