The inaugural gala is an eagerly awaited, unique, never to be repeated spectacle. Each year Figueres welcomes Spring with glamorous velvet covered, candlelit tables, and entertainment for all.

Hosted by “Senyor Bohigues” the free thinker at the free bar, Catalan version of Al Murray’s pub landlord, with more banter than the whole of Catalonia. For one night only, two of the stars from the Lido and the Crazy Horse Paris grace the stage of the Festival: mime clown Housch-ma-Housch and the catastrophic but amazing magician Otto Wessely. Also appearing live for your further enjoyment is the popular and salty TV humorist Santi Rodríguez (El Club de la Comedia, 7 Vidas).

For fifteen years the actor Eduard Biosca from Terrassa has lived the part of his character Senyor Bohigues. He triumphed on Versió RAC1 (the Toni Clapes Radio Show) and TV3. He is optimistic in his pessimism. Nothing is safe from his criticism. The ideal barman.
Housch-ma-Housch
Eccentric humour
Ukrainian born, working in Paris, living in Germany : a true oddball. An unclassifiable clown mime. Trained at the Kiev Circus School, having received awards from numerous festivals, he comes direct to Figueres from the Lido in Paris after a detour to the Monte Carlo Festival.
Santi Rodríguez
Joyful laughter
To be Andalucian and a comedian is an explosive combination. A mixture of resignation and irony, his constant use of improvisation, his ability to make the most of any situation... always with a smile. Born in Malaga, living in Jaen... need we say more?!
